priceless love

it’s a money thing
love in the markets
love in the marketplace
someone has a card
to fit your mood
a dollar fifty
or e-

amorous dollars
transatlantic euros
pound signs for the eyes
the ticket-price of love
not love itself

in the friend zone
in the place of love
close but
no embraces
never enough
no cigars
no chocs

in the money zone
in gold we trust
will you still feed me
I know you won’t
need me
money can’t buy me
a better class
of friend

70 bucks
fizz and fun
it’s that money thing
eat out your hearts
two as cheap as one
who loves you baby
my girl lollipop
hey big spender
that’s the way to do it
money for nothing
