Glue

Children are faceless,
faceless on Facebook,
glued to the screen,
old at the age of thirteen.
Cyber bully, internet troll,
taking over self-control.
You’re hooked -
Facebooked.
You’ve been online
since you were nine
and now your life is in decline.
Still glued to the screen,
a wreck at the age of fourteen.
You starve yourself,
you’re on the shelf,
slicing at your arm.
You don’t know why,
you don’t get high,
addicted to self-harm.
Forever glued to the screen,
dead at the age of fifteen.
