Cutting it

An idea occurred to her; she pictured it,
her very own slice of photographic harm.

She saw the best shots sent worldwide,
instant recognition if she could cut it.

A community to support her, egg her on;
she followed, liked their viral provocation.

When his daughter died he pictured it;
grieving father trying to piece together

the open wound fragments of her life,
deadly images on edge of digital knife.
