You've read the news stories about the separation of immigrant families in the United States. You will be aware of the message Melania Trump carried on her coat. Poets have responded, from both sides of the Atlantic. Read what they have to say, this weekend, at Poetry24.

25 Years after Tiananmen

Imprisoned for seven years,
still under house arrest,
Bao says, “Back then

they feared the students;
deployed tanks, guns
against the students.

Today, they don’t dare
tell this to the public,
don’t dare to tell the truth.”

25 years after Tiananmen
Beijing censors memory,
tweets a panda, sleeping.
